Creative writing in a trauma-informed space, exploring internalised misogyny, creativity, wellbeing, and social action.

DBT for trauma survivors

DBT skills informed by trauma survivors who became experts in DBT by using it in their own recovery. Emotional dysregulation is recognised as being rooted in trauma and oppression.

Sustaining wellbeing as activists and organisers facing the suffering caused by injustice

Training

Co-developed learning informed by professional and lived experience

We offer training for organisations, practitioners, peer workers, and community groups who want to rethink conventional responses to distress and develop more relational, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive ways of working.

  • Radical Recovery College

    Trainings can focus on severe emotional distress, extreme states, mood swings, chronic despair and fear, and suicidal distress. These are understood as reactions to adversity and social contexts that can be navigated through activism and collective responses.

  • Surviving suicidal distress and self harm

    Understanding the retraumatisation caused by many treatment approaches for trauma surviviors and learning PTMF informed alternatives.

  • Eco-systemic approaches for traumatised and marginalised communities

    This can be provided with a focus on Global Majority refugees and people seeking asylum, LGBTQIA communities, etc.

  • Wealth inequality and ‘mental health’

    The hidden reality that economic inequality is a major social determinant of ‘mental health’ problems.
